Number 103!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think this was the number on the list I was most excited to check off. For a year or two I have been desperate to go to a concert, I have a pretty diverse music taste and I would have been happy with anything I knew the words to.
Maybe I cheated, but I think that this was the best thing I’ve done so far.
My brother is the lead singer and rhythm guitarist for the band Paper Cutouts and I have been to his concerts before, but this was the biggest audience he has ever had, and the longest set they have ever played.
It was a really fun gig and alot of people were jamming to the music they were playing, some covers and 2 originals.
They were chosen to play at Harbour Nights, a popular gathering put on every wednesday in town where I live. It’s really a toursit atracction and is put on right next to hamiltoon harbour so the passengers on the cruise ship could even hear him play!
Plenty of people were having fun, and the band was interacting with the crowd. Nathaniel, the guitarist even played a small guitar solo-behind his head! (second to last picture)
Videos to come!
#102 and the last current item on the list was crossed off today while having dinner with my friends Lara and Marissa.
After school that day, we were eager to begin summer early despite having a week of school still remaining. Lara had an amazing house which included a pool and gaming systems, not to mention that she was an amazing person and very fun to hang out with.
After losing track of time for the first few hours, we realized that we should probably begin swimming which was a really great time. We were ravenous after the exercise and Lara’s mother had made pizzas for us for dinner.
We took them outside and started to eat when Lara decided to return inside for some hot sauce for her pizza. Soon Marissa, who had an item on her list: ‘eat a tablespoon of hot sauce’, was eating it on her pizza too.
They both expected me to try it, and as they drizzled it on like rain in England I put about 3 small drops on my next bite of pizza. It was not hot, it was merely mild upon my tongue and just tasted unpleasant. I don’t see the appeal.
Picture Description: Not one of my own, the brand logo for Tabasco Pepper Sauce, the type that I tried.
#86- Check it off!
My first post on here, and the first item I checked off my Summer Bucket List is #86- Help the Community.
Although I would very much enjoy to help the community through volunteering work this summer, I can safely say my first volunteering act of the summer is complete.
My school, Somersfield Academy, had organized a community and service day which involved all of the students in the middle years program teaming up with K.B.B. (Keep Bermuda Beautiful) representatives to aid in cleaning up a tribe road behind our school.
I teamed up with my friends, Jack, Lara, Deanae and Natasha to clean up the trash together. We walked along the road to well past our school grounds and picked up any trash we could find along the way, filling up about 3 trash bags in 2 hours between us.
I would say it was a very successful, if not photogenic for me, day and I was very happy with the end result of a clean cross country route for next year!
